UCLA Basketball and Every Small Moral Victory

UCLA was beaten on Saturday night when they were playing Texas.  The game was ugly from the onset and though UCLA, and Texas both played well at certain moments, the game was not the prettiest.  You could tell that both teams just aren’t living up to the massive hype that preceded this season.  I think there is still room for improvement however.

Down by 8 with little time left in the game the Bruins finished with a 12-2 run to win by two points.  I think the thing I am most impressed with is that UCLA didn’t just give up.  That has been their problem this season.  They all just look a little disinterested at times.  Nobody has that killer instinct they need to lead this team.   Also, we finally saw the Kyle Anderson that was advertised.  He looked like a college player for the first time this season.

This season is gonna be interesting from here out.  I am not sure what is going to happen to UCLA basketball, but at least they have something to build on now.
