NBA All-Star Game

The All Star game starters have been announced for both the East and West.  I think that everybody forgot the part were you congratulate (most) of these guys on their selection and instead went straight to questioning the fans.

The most controversial seems to be the lack of Centers in the starting line-up.  Dwight Howard got passed up in the end of the voting by Kevin Love and I couldn’t be happier about that. The same thing happened in the East as Roy Hibbert was beat out by a slew of small forwards.

The starters look like this: West (best) Love, Kobe Bryant, Stephen Curry, Blake Griffin, and Kevin Durant

East (least) Lebron James, Carmelo Anthony, Dwayne Wade, Kyrie Irving, and Paul George

Kobe probably won’t play considering he has only played 6 games so far this season and was still the 3rd highest vote getter in the league.  People want to see Kobe play.  Simple as that.

Chris Paul has been getting a lot of love for not being voted into the starting lineup.  When he is healthy he has been the best PG in the league, but he has missed too many games for me to care if is starting or not.  Relax everyone.  This game will be high scoring with lots of highlights and will get very tense at the end.  Like usual.
