Don’t Blame The Sleeves

The NBA and NCAA are trying out these new sleeved jerseys and while I do think they have a rather cool look, I don’t think they would be fun to play in.  First of all the jerseys are insanely tight and can’t be comfortable in that regard.  Also, they have to restrict the movement of your arms which means that everything from dribbling to taking a shot to putting your arms up on defense can be hindered.

The NBA has said that the players will decide whether or not to continue using them in the future, but for right now they have to wear them.  Lebron basically blamed the sleeves for his poor play in a game a few days ago.

No need to blame the sleeves for poor play, but I do think they need to be gone next season.
