Today marks the first ever National Championship game, since the playoff system was implemented that is. The Oregon Ducks have to be the favorite, but they won’t take Ohio State and their 3rd string QB lightly like Alabama did.
Oregon has already lost a top WR and a little known RB to suspensions for this game. That shouldn’t effect the Duck attack all that much. They still have so many weapons on offense that the loss of one player isn’t all that bad.
Ohio State seems to keep winning no matter who is playing QB. They started the season with Braxton Miller getting tons of Heisman love before his season was ended by an injury. So, JT Barrett takes over and has a hell of a year before he goes out late in the season with an injury. Now, Cardale Jones takes over and led a huge comeback against, what most people felt, was the best team in the country.
The game is Oregon’s to lose. If they come out and play like they did against Florida State, Ohio State stands no chance.
